Hippodice Competition 2027

Dates will be announced soon. The application phase will start again in late summer 2026.

The participation conditions for 2027 will be published shortly and are not available until then.

The Hippodice Competition 2026 has concluded.

The submission phase ran from August to September 2025.
The preliminary round (review by Hippodice editors) was completed in October 2025.
Prototype submissions (by the game designers) took place in October and November 2025.
The main round (prototype testing phase) ran from November 2025 to February 2026.
The final round (evaluation by an expert jury and award ceremony) was held in March 2026.
New was:
- Maximum of 3 submissions per author
- Playtime: Your prototype may have a maximum of 90 minutes of actual playtime (excluding rule explanation). More information about playtime can be found in the FAQ.
